Official logo of GRABO, the manufacturer of professional portable electric vacuum lifters, supplied by PietraCasa.

Grabo is an industry innovator, pioneering advancements in motorized vacuum technology for heavy-duty material handling.

By collaborating with stone masons and porcelain fabricators, Grabo creates premium lifting tools that enable unparalleled control over fragile or heavy sheets. This is exemplified in their intelligent sensor technology, rapid-seal rubber gaskets, and balanced ergonomic designs.

PietraCasa partnered with Grabo to solve the primary challenge of large-format architecture: safely maneuvering heavy, oversized panels in complex site conditions. Their engineering-led approach to tool safety and material handling perfectly aligns with our company standards for precision and protection..

Ladder Anchor

The Ergoniks Ladder Anchor uses the Grabo Pro as a secure anchor point for ladders on tiled or glazed surfaces, eliminating the risk of ladder slippage on smooth wall and floor finishes. Available as a kit including the Grabo Pro or as a standalone anchor for existing Grabo users. Replacement ladder straps are available separately.

Grabo Seals

Four seal types are available to match the Grabo to the surface being lifted: Standard Foam Seal for smooth surfaces, Slender Seal for narrow or irregular contact areas, Rock Seal for rough or textured materials, and Brace Seal for additional structural support on heavy loads. The right seal is as important as the lifter itself.

Did you know?

Grabo departs from traditional manual handling. Large-format porcelain slabs at 160x320cm weigh between 40kg and 80kg depending on thickness. Moving and positioning these accurately by hand, without damaging the surface or the installer, requires either two experienced people working in close coordination or a mechanical solution. The Grabo provides that solution in a portable, battery-powered device that one person can use independently.

The electronic suction maintenance is what makes it reliable rather than simply useful. A passive suction cup loses grip over time or when the surface is not perfectly smooth. The Grabo's motor continuously maintains the vacuum seal and sounds an alarm if pressure drops, giving the installer real-time feedback on the security of the grip. This is the difference between a tool that gets used on the easy jobs and one that gets used on every job.

In practice, Grabo is part of PietraCasa's standard installation toolkit for every project involving large-format porcelain, natural stone slabs or glass. The ability to lift, position and adjust heavy materials with precision and without risking the surface or the installer is not a luxury on these projects. It is a requirement. PietraCasa supplies Grabo products to trade clients and installers who work with large-format materials and want to raise the standard and safety of their own installations.
