Fiandre
High-tech surfaces. Architectural precision.
Supplied in the UK by PietraCasa.
A brand of Iris Ceramica Group, producing large-format porcelain stoneware for architecture and design since 1963.
Fiandre has been shaping the large-format ceramic market since 1963. The Maximum collection, producing slabs at 300x150cm and just 6mm thick, remains one of the most specified large-format ceramic systems in architecture and design globally.
At 14kg per square metre, Maximum slabs are suited to applications where conventional ceramic is too heavy, including furniture cladding and lightweight facade systems. Full Body cubed technology runs pattern and colour through the entire slab thickness. Active Surfaces provides photocatalytic, antibacterial and antiviral performance. Hypertouch integrates capacitive touch technology into the ceramic surface, allowing light and temperature control through the wall.
Collections span marble, granite, stone, wood, cement and metallic effects. The Lexicon collection, launched in 2025, offers eight coordinated stone and marble surfaces designed as an architectural vocabulary. Fiandre is part of Iris Ceramica Group.
Designed for every surface
Kitchen
Maximum 6mm slabs can be applied as kitchen worktop overlays, splashbacks and furniture cladding at very low weight. At 12mm, Fiandre provides a full worktop thickness with profiled edge details.
Furniture
At 6mm and 14kg per square metre, Maximum is used for furniture cladding, cabinet fronts, table tops, partitions and door panels. Full Body cubed means exposed edges read with the same quality as the face.
Surfaces
Fiandre's Granitech ventilated facade system extends Maximum slabs to external cladding. Active Surfaces facades reduce air pollutants in the surrounding environment, relevant for urban architectural projects.
Bathroom
Coordinated floor and wall collections allow bathrooms to be resolved as a single continuous surface. Active Surfaces makes selected Fiandre collections antibacterial and self-cleaning in wet and spa environments.

Did you know?
Fiandre has been innovating at the technical edge of the ceramic market for over sixty years. Maximum at 300x150cm and 6mm thick remains the standard against which large-format ceramic is measured. Full Body cubed technology resolves the edge limitation that prevented earlier large-format ceramics from being used in furniture fronts, door panels, stair nosings and countertop profiles. At 40% recycled content and GREENGUARD Gold certification, Maximum also sits at the responsible end of architectural specification.
Fiandre's brand collaborations reflect the breadth of its architectural reach. Ferrari, Fiat, Jaguar and Volvo have all commissioned bespoke eco-active showrooms using Fiandre surfaces. Fashion boutiques from Armani, Dior, Fendi, Givenchy and Nike have used Fiandre for retail environments. Architect Matteo Nunziati used the brand for Fraser Suites in Doha. Groupwork and artist Abdul Abdullah collaborated with Fiandre on a large-scale urban porcelain installation in Melbourne. Diesel Living brought its industrial fashion aesthetic to a joint surface collection with the Iris Ceramica Group.
In practice, Fiandre surfaces are relevant for high-specification projects where large-format material, low weight and technical performance are all required simultaneously. The brand works naturally alongside kitchen systems from Boffi and Arclinea, bathroom furniture from Antonio Lupi, and facade systems on residential and commercial architectural projects where the material envelope is as considered as the interior.
