The Italgraniti Group's dedicated large-format slab brand, producing porcelain stoneware surfaces up to 160x320cm from a new Industry 5.0 production facility.
Italstone is the Italgraniti Group's large-format slab programme, produced at a new dedicated facility that became operational in early 2025. The investment of over 60 million euros represents one of the most significant recent commitments to ceramic production in Italy.
Italstone surfaces are produced at 160x320cm with a brightness measurement consistently above L91 on spectrophotometric analysis, a level that approaches the finest quality natural stone and is rare in porcelain stoneware. RealUp technology synchronises the digital graphic with the three-dimensional surface microstructure, producing veining and texture depth that reads as genuinely material rather than printed. Production is certified to Industry 5.0 standards.
Italstone coordinates with the Impronta wall tile range and the Italgraniti floor collection, allowing a complete surface specification to be resolved within a single group. The group holds B Corp certification.
Designed for every surface
Kitchen
Italstone 160x320cm slabs allow kitchen worktops, islands and splashbacks to be resolved at very large format with minimal or no visible jointing. Exceptional surface brightness and veining realism make Italstone relevant where marble quality is the specification reference.
Furniture
Italstone slabs are used for bespoke furniture applications including table tops, shelving, cabinet cladding and the LOOM bathroom furniture system developed by Italgraniti Group. The consistency of the large-format material allows furniture and architectural surfaces to read as a single continuous material throughout a space.
Surfaces
Italstone large-format slabs are used for wall cladding, facade panels and architectural surface applications where the scale and visual quality of the material are part of the design intention. The production system is certified for sustainability, providing environmental documentation for projects with green building requirements.
Bathroom
Large-format Italstone slabs allow bathroom walls and floors to be resolved in a single continuous material. The slab format is suited to vanity tops, shower walls and feature wall cladding, and coordinates with Impronta wall tile collections for a complete bathroom specification.

Italstone is the most technically advanced expression of Italgraniti Group's investment in large-format ceramic production. The L91 brightness specification is a meaningful technical differentiator. Most porcelain surfaces at this format fall significantly below this threshold. Italstone's ability to consistently achieve and exceed L91 means the material reflects light with a quality that approaches the finest natural marble, without the porosity, maintenance requirements or supply uncertainty of the natural material.
The group's design collaborations give Italstone a clear architectural context. The Decoro Radio 3D collection, designed by Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, won the Archiproducts Design Award 2024. At Milan Design Week 2026, the Kitchen Becomes Architecture installation from the same design duo treated the kitchen as a fully resolved architectural space built around Italgraniti surfaces. Ceramica Cielo collaborated with the group on the Spazio Cielo showroom, where Italgraniti's Travertini collection covered the surfaces throughout.
