Iris Ceramica
Surfaces that go
one step further.
A complete collection of floor tiles, wall coverings and collaborative design surfaces, designed for residential and commercial architecture, built with Active Surfaces technology since 1961.
Iris Ceramica Group incorporates brands that are each industry leaders in their own right – Ariostea, Iris, Fiandre, FMG, SapienStone and Porcelaingres.
This strong and broad portfolio allows the group to provide everything for a project.
What really sets the group apart is their production of not only large format slabs, but also their incredibly detailed and convincing finishes, increasingly indistinguishable from the natural equivalent. This is particularly true for their precious stone collections.
This innovation has also followed through to their truly full-bodied material that can be treated the way you would stone, which opens up exciting possibilities.
A collection for every brief
Floor
Iris Ceramica floor collections cover marble, stone, concrete and wood effects across a range of formats from standard residential sizes through to extra-large format ceramics. Key collections include Marble Active, Pietra di Basalto Active, Avenue XXL, Armonie, Avista and E-Wood.
Active Surfaces technology is available across selected floor collections providing photocatalytic, antibacterial and antiviral performance. Full Body material technology ensures consistent quality at edges and cuts. Coordinated outdoor versions of principal collections allow the same material to carry from interior to exterior.
Bottega d'Arte
Bottega d'Arte is a programme of artisanal ceramic surfaces that brings traditional craft techniques into contemporary architectural applications. The programme includes Armonie, Victorian Stone, Thekes and Panels, each produced with a surface quality and material depth that references Italian ceramic craft tradition.
The Bottega d'Arte range is particularly suited to hospitality, residential and cultural projects where handmade quality and material authenticity are part of the design brief. PietraCasa can advise on which collections within the programme are most appropriate for specific project types.
Diesel Living
The ongoing creative partnership with Diesel Living, which began in 2016, produces ceramic surfaces where fashion and pop culture references are applied to the material. Collections including Reloaded, Stage, Grunge Concrete, Glass Blocks and Arizona Concrete each carry a distinct urban aesthetic.
In 2026, the collaboration produced Dys Distressed Rug and Acid Majolica, showcased at Milan Design Week. This is an active and evolving creative partnership. The Diesel Living collections sit alongside the Iris Ceramica standard range and can be combined with it across floor and wall applications.
Wall Coverings
Iris Ceramica wall collections include Adamas, Aura, Blaze, Camp, Fence, Maiolica, Pluriball and Slide, covering the full range from restrained monochromatic surfaces through to expressively textured and three-dimensional wall coverings. Each collection has a distinct design register.
White body single-fired ceramic wall tiles provide a clean, hygienic and sustainable wall surface for kitchens, bathrooms and public areas. Coordinated with the wider porcelain stoneware floor range, they allow complete interior specifications with consistent material treatment throughout.

Did you know?
One of the most significant things Iris Ceramica Group has done is build genuine design collaboration into the fabric of how they develop product. The long-running partnership with Diesel Living, which began in 2016, brought fashion and pop culture references into ceramic surface design in a way that had not been done before. Collections including Reloaded, Stage, Grunge Concrete and Arizona Concrete came out of that relationship. In 2026, the collaboration produced Dys Distressed Rug and Acid Majolica, showcased at Milan Design Week, demonstrating that this is an active and evolving creative partnership rather than a one-off.
The group's technical collaborations are equally serious. Alchimia, developed with technology company VBH, integrates video, sound and touch controls directly into ceramic surfaces, making them interactive architectural elements. Active Surfaces, the group's photocatalytic technology developed with TOTO, makes ceramic surfaces antibacterial, antiviral and self-cleaning through the action of natural or artificial light. The ICG Renaisscience Hub, a research partnership with Politecnico di Milano, is focused on sustainable ceramic solutions and long-term material innovation.
These are not peripheral activities. They reflect a group that understands ceramic as a material with architectural potential far beyond its conventional applications. For architects and designers working on projects where surface performance, environmental credentials and design authorship all matter, Iris Ceramica Group offers a depth of product thinking that few manufacturers in the sector can match.
