Florim
Italian surfaces. Considered design.
Stocked and supplied in the UK by PietraCasa.
A complete collection of porcelain surfaces, designed for architecture and built to perform.
Florim is an industry leader that has gradually selected and curated a number of trusted Italian brands to create a portfolio of companies that are synonymous with quality and design.
These include Cedit, Luxury Design (Rex), Creative Design (Casa Dolce Casa), Architectural Design (FloorGres) and Contemporary Design (Cerim) with the name Florim being a combination of the latter two.
The breadth of their collections is extensive and their designs often set industry trends. For example, their I Classici and Wooden Tile collections have led the way in marble and wooden effect tiles for years and have paved the way for porcelain to be a real alternative to the natural products. Florim’s production facilities also lead the way in innovation and sustainability and that is why they have been PietraCasa’s trusted supplier from our founding.
Designed for every surface
Kitchen
FLORIM stone surfaces are produced at 6mm, 12mm and 20mm thicknesses, covering everything from refined worktop profiles to full kitchen furniture cladding.
The collection references marble, natural stone and oxidised metal, with large-format slabs up to 320x160cm allowing worktops and splashbacks to read as a single uninterrupted surface.
Furniture
Thin formats at 6mm and 12mm allow Florim surfaces to be used across cabinetry, shelving and bespoke furniture pieces, creating a coherent material language throughout a space.
Increasingly specified for feature walls, hearths and integrated joinery, PietraCasa can advise architects, design studios and fabricators on the right format and finish for your project.
Surfaces
Durable, weather-resistant surfaces suitable for external cladding and architectural envelopes. Florim's outdoor range is UV-stable and thermally resistant, so the material reads consistently from inside to outside.
Where most porcelain brands focus on the face, Florim invests in the full material body. Minerals and texture run through the slab, making every cut edge as considered as the surface.
Bathroom
Large-format surfaces eliminate grout lines across floors and walls, keeping wet environments low-maintenance and visually clean. Slip-resistant finishes are available across the range.
Florim's I Classici collection is one of the most specified marble-effect porcelain ranges available, with veining and depth that holds up at close range in any bathroom setting.

Did you know?
Florim treats the ceramic surface as a design problem rather than a production outcome. Their collections tend to set the direction rather than follow it. The I Classici and Wooden Tile ranges were both developed at a point when porcelain as a serious alternative to natural stone and timber was still contested in the market. Both helped change that, and both remain industry benchmarks today. That same willingness to challenge assumptions about what ceramic can be used for runs through everything the group produces.
Florim has formalised this thinking through a number of documented brand collaborations. The I Filati di Rex collection was developed with Rubelli, the Venetian textile house, translating fabric-like surface textures into ceramic. The SensiEtna collection came from a collaboration with Nerosicilia, using real Etna lava stone from Sicily as part of the material composition. Most significantly, the Elitique project brought together Florim and Italian bathroom brand Falper to create the first integrated bathroom system combining solid wood furniture with Florim porcelain stoneware, with collections designed by Matteo Nunziati and Victor Vasilev.
In practice, Florim surfaces sit naturally within high-specification residential and hospitality schemes. The Elitique bathroom system is now showcased in Florim flagship stores globally, from Milan to Seoul, making it a particularly strong reference point for architects and interior designers specifying at the highest level of the market.
