Eterno Ivica has been producing raised floor pedestal systems in Italy for over sixty years. The Pedestal system solves the practical problems of external paving: moisture, drainage, cable management and uneven substrates are all resolved by a single adjustable support system.
The pedestal range covers heights from 15mm through to 420mm. The bi-component rubber head provides anti-slip and anti-noise performance. The GRF System is Eterno Ivica's grid-laying solution, combining pedestal stability with a modular grid that allows porcelain stoneware, marble and other materials to be laid dry without adhesive.
Eterno Ivica holds CasaClima partner status for both their construction and acoustic divisions. Their Phonolook acoustic range provides sound insulation solutions. Terraces and Roof Gardens
Adjustable pedestals allow porcelain and natural stone to be installed on terraces and roof gardens without bonding to the waterproofing membrane. Height adjustment allows millimetre-precise levelling regardless of substrate condition.
Commercial Rooftops
For commercial rooftop applications, Eterno Ivica pedestals are load-rated for high foot traffic and heavy static loads. The SE Silent range reduces acoustic bridging between the floor surface and the structure below.

Pool Surrounds
The GRF grid system allows large-format porcelain to be laid dry around pool surrounds, with drainage managed through the raised system. Surfaces can be removed for membrane inspection without damage.

Raised floor technology solves a set of practical problems that conventional bonded paving cannot. The finished surface is separated from the structural substrate, so drainage happens beneath, waterproofing membranes remain accessible, and the surface can be levelled independently of substrate conditions. Services and cables can be routed under the floor without excavation, and the dry-lay method means the surface can be removed and replaced without full demolition.
Eterno Ivica has collaborated with architects and designers on installations that demonstrate what the system makes possible beyond standard terrace applications. Lina Ghotmeh and MoscaPartners used Eterno Ivica raised flooring as the substructure for their Metamorphosis in Motion installation at Palazzo Litta during Milan Design Week. Angelo Dall'Aglio and Davide Vercelli used Eterno Ivica platforms to recreate vintage dance floors for the Sound of Design installation.
