Antolini x Bang & Olufsen: Natural Stone Meets Precision Sound

Some design collaborations are logical. A furniture brand works with a fabric house. A lighting manufacturer partners with an architect. The outcome is predictable before the product arrives. The collaboration between Antolini and Bang & Olufsen is not that kind of partnership. On the surface, a 70-year-old Italian natural stone company and a century-old Danish audio brand have no obvious reason to exist in the same design conversation. Look closer, and the connection becomes inevitable. Both brands are obsessed with material, and both are committed to the idea that an object should not only perform but move you.

At PietraCasa, we supply Antolini natural stone for residential and commercial projects across the South Coast and UK. The Bang & Olufsen partnership matters to us because it demonstrates, at the highest level of luxury design, precisely what Antolini stone is capable of.

As part of Bang & Olufsen's Atelier Bespoke offering, the partnership celebrates the shared commitment to innovation, artistry and craftsmanship that defines both brands. At Milan Design Week 2025, Bang & Olufsen unveiled the Beosound Balance Natura, a reimagined take on its iconic Beosound Balance speaker, anchored by a striking stone plinth carved from Antolini's Exclusive and Precioustone Collections. The base features materials including Cristallo Iceberg, Cristallo Vitrum "Wow" and petrified wood in rich, earthy tones, with a precision-matched anodised aluminium ring transitioning seamlessly from base to speaker.

The stone plinth isn't purely decorative. It's engineered to enhance acoustic performance, minimising vibrations and letting sound flow naturally through the space, a genuine fusion of raw materiality and refined technology rather than a cosmetic add-on. The Beosound Balance Natura is available across a range of Antolini's Exclusive Collection stones, including the glacier-like Cristallo Vitrum "Wow" and pink-hued Cristallo Rosa "Wow", alongside select petrified woods. A Beovision Theatre 55-inch TV and a pair of Beolab 28 speakers, customised in Antolini's Amazonite quartzite, complete the series, its vibrant stone base a striking counterpoint to Bang & Olufsen's signature neutral palette.

The full collection was limited to just 16 made-to-order units, each uniquely defined by the character of the stone selected, making every piece genuinely unrepeatable.

As Antolini owner Carlo Alberto Antolini put it: "a dialogue between aesthetics and performance, between nature and technology, between history and avant-garde. Together with Bang & Olufsen, we turned precious materials into unique sensory experiences."
